The TRI-CENTRIC HYPNOSIS CENTRE has been formed as a teaching centre to make the benefits of self-hypnosis available to anyone seriously interested in improving their mental and physical health, activating their inner potential and achieving personal goals.
Over the years, Dr. Rausch has conducted many one day interactive workshops on Self-Hypnosis, with very positive feedback and results. Dr. Rausch will conduct periodic one hour introductory presentations for interested groups.
For Corporations, Service Clubs and larger groups, in-house presentations or workshops can be arranged.
DR. VICTOR RAUSCH, D.D.S. is a retired Dental Surgeon who is a world renowned expert in Hypnosis, Self-Hypnosis and Energy Medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto in 1964. For five years he served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Royal Canadian Dental Corps) in the capacities of clinician, clinical instructor and lecturer in hypnosis at the Dental School, Canadian Forces Base Borden.
In his role as Dental Officer, he integrated hypnosis into the clinical aspects of dental treatment. His main interest lay in developing techniques for rapid relief of apprehension, pain control, bleeding control and rapid post-operative healing. Dr. Rausch left the Armed Forces in 1969 and opened a private dental practice in Waterloo, Ontario.
His total involvement with and belief in the potentials of hypnosis, prompted him to put it to the ultimate test. In 1978, he had major abdominal surgery, using SELF-HYPNOSIS as the sole anaesthetic agent. It was a major medical breakthrough and became an international news item. He has been extensively interviewed and written about by the news media from around the world.
Dr. Rausch is a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a Diplomate of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis in Dentistry. He is a past member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the International Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine. He is a strong supporter of the Canadian Federation of Clinical Hypnosis. He has taught and lectured nationally and internationally.
Dr. Rausch has also been on the teaching faculty of Wilfrid Laurier University, Department of Psychology. He is actively involved in research as well as teaching.
ELAINE CARPENTER, CAPP is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Business Administration. For the past 30 years Elaine has been employed by the University of Waterloo in various capacities, ranging from Operations Manager of the Bookstore to, more recently, Manager of Parking Services. Elaine was the first female in Canada to obtain her CAPP (Certified Administrator of Public Parking) from the University of Virginia. Her vast experience in business administration and public relations has made her a natural fit into the future goals of TRI-CENTRIC HYPNOSIS CENTRE. She and Dr. Rausch, as partners, make the perfect team.
Elaine holds the position of CEO and Chief Administrator of the TRI-CENTRIC HYPNOSIS CENTRE. From personal experience, she is totally committed to the value and promotion of hypnosis.
